About
Engineer by training. Builder by nature.
A multidisciplinary engineer, project leader, developer, and business owner based in the Cincinnati, Ohio region.
My professional background combines more than a decade of mechanical and aerospace engineering experience with practical work in manufacturing, fabrication, excavation, motorsports, cloud software, automation, data engineering, and machine learning.
I've worked with complex CAD assemblies, engineering change processes, product data, manufacturing teams, customers, subcontractors, software systems, and real-world equipment. My work ranges from designing and supporting aerospace tooling to building role-based contractor platforms, machine-learning systems, technical websites, and motorsports product-lifecycle software.
What distinguishes my work is not simply the number of tools I've used. It's the ability to connect disciplines. I can discuss requirements with stakeholders, model a mechanical solution, understand how it will be manufactured, organize the underlying data, build supporting software, deploy it, document it, and improve it from user feedback.
Away from the screen, I have extensive hands-on experience with welding, metal fabrication, equipment, construction, excavation, vehicle projects, race cars, and additive manufacturing. This practical background influences how I approach engineering: solutions must work outside a presentation or CAD environment.
My current interests include motorsports engineering, race-team data management, artificial intelligence, product development, 3D-printed tooling and components, engineering automation, and building independent technical products.
The progression
From hands-on curiosity to integrated systems
Cars, equipment & mechanical systems
A hands-on interest in how things are built, repaired, and made to work.
Volunteer motorsports
SCCA club racing — race-weekend preparation, troubleshooting, and teamwork under pressure.
Mechanical & aerospace engineering
Tooling and product support, CAD, drawings, and configuration control.
Product data & manufacturing liaison
Teamcenter workflows, design reviews, and resolving manufacturing and design issues.
Engineering leadership & project delivery
Requirements, planning, cross-functional coordination, and mentoring.
Business ownership — Agrifarms LLC
Running real field operations exposed workflow problems that later inspired software.
Software development & cloud deployment
Python, FastAPI, self-hosted and cloud infrastructure.
Data, machine learning & AI
Pipelines, feature engineering, model evaluation, and applied AI tooling.
HyperPLM — the convergence
Where motorsports, engineering, software, and product-data experience meet in one product.
