Lightweight mechanical design, manufacturing, fabrication, aerodynamics, data, electronics, rapid problem solving, and teamwork — all in one place.

Motorsports brings together nearly every area of engineering that interests me. My SCCA club-racing experience began in the paddock, supporting a Bobsey SR-7 D Sports Racer from 2006 through 2014. That experience continues to influence how I think about race-car development and the tools small teams need to manage parts, setups, changes, and knowledge across a season.

Bobsey SR-7 D Sports Racer

SCCA Club Racing · 2006–2014

Supported an SCCA club-racing program campaigning a Bobsey SR-7 D Sports Racer — a lightweight sports-racing prototype in the former D Sports Racing category. The experience provided direct exposure to race-weekend preparation, vehicle inspection, mechanical troubleshooting, setup changes, paddock operations, teamwork under time pressure, and the practical realities of maintaining a purpose-built race car.

This was a volunteer club-racing role — not a paid professional racing-engineer or crew-chief position.
